BOBST® is the global market leader in the production of cutting machines. Like any prestigious company, BOBST® is constantly innovating its products and services. These innovations bring better competitiveness to customers and are then an argument that they are the right investment choice. This is also why they have newly prepared a certification program in Switzerland for manufacturers of die cutting tools, which aims to connect a machine manufacturer with manufacturers of die cutting tools and their end users. The goal is to show the customer that a good machine works much better with quality cutting tools and above all with good settings. A certified supplier of cutting tools is also a guarantee of the quality of the delivered tools. The machines can then achieve maximum performance, which is the common intention of all three parties involved. BOBST® machines can be found all over the globe, so it is strategically important for this company to have at least one reliable partner in each area. Karel Kaňák, s.r.o. has become such a certified partner and is thus part of a worldwide network. In addition, it is the first such certified company in Central and Eastern Europe.

COMPANY KAREL KAŘÁK BECAME THE 16th CERTIFIED COMPANY IN THE WORLD.

We are proud that BOBST® was interested in us becoming their partner and joining their certification program. The initial entry into the certification process was the purchase of a HybridSetter machine from the Boxplan company belonging to the BOBST® group. This machine automatically sets the pins and other elements for the top stripping tools by setting them in several height levels. However, it is not only about the automation of the production of upper stripping, but mainly about the entire technology that improves the results of waste stripping. Our task was to produce a complete set of tools for the assigned order, and thus present in a demonstration center in Switzerland how the MasterCut machine will work with our products. We did great.

WHY WE DECIDED TO JOIN THIS PARTNERSHIP?

Thanks to this partnership, we have access to all the manuals and settings for BOBST® machines, and this has made our work much easier. We can comprehensively consult with BOBST®if needed. We can meet together and work on development activities. The door to the BOBST® centers (in Germany or Switzerland) has opened for us, where we can also invite our customers and try new technologies together on the best machines with maximum technological support. It is also very important that, thanks to the established lines of communication, we can request co-operation on, for example, technologically problematic orders. So we are able to minimize possible risks during subsequent production at the end customer. Simply put, we have the prerequisites to prepare die cutting tools that will work perfectly "right out of the box".
